BBC Reported That WTC 7 Collapsed Before it Occurred, Caught on Video? Anyone Care to Explain ?

Troy Perkins
posted at www.patriotbeliever.com

A peculiar piece of video appeared on Google Video yesterday and sent parts of the Internet into a scramble. Reports are that Google "took the video down" several times throughout the day yesterday. The footage is from a live BBC report on the afternoon of September 11, 2001. The studio anchor is seen reporting the collapse of the Salomon Brothers Building (which was World Trade Center building 7) and discusses it with an on location BBC correspondent named Jane Standley in New York City. The report is all true except that the building that they are reporting having collapsed is still standing directly behind the reporter in the live feed and remains standing throughout the video clip until the feed suddenly begins to digitally degrade and then is suddenly lost. Listen carefully to their words in case you think they were confused about the building in question… Click here to see the clip on YouTube.com.

A source has claimed that the report takes place at 4:57pm EST, but this has not been confirmed yet. What is undeniable is that the building being reported to have collapsed is standing in the live shot directly behind the reporter's head throughout the report. World Trade Center Building 7 or the Salomon Brothers Building did in fact collapse at 5:20pm EST, about 23 minutes from the claimed 4:57pm time that afternoon and presumably just after the live feed goes dead. This raises huge questions about an already inconsistent story that has been all but blacked out.

To be clear, the official story about the collapse of WTC 7 (a huge 47 story building that most people are not even aware collapsed that day) is that it collapsed due to debris damage from the tower collapses and fires, having not been struck by an aircraft. This was already an unbelievable story that is seldom discussed. A media blackout on showing actual collapse footage of building 7 is implied due to interviews like the one between Tucker Carlson and Physics Professor Steven Jones on MSNBC in which the professor asks for the clip of the collapse he supplied to be played several times, to no avail.

This new video of BBC's "pre-report" raises serious questions about scripting of the reporting and foreknowledge of the impending collapse and therefore brings all aspects of the story of that day into question.

WTC 7 has been the center of a lot of attention for 9-11 researchers as it was not hit by a plane like the towers yet collapsed in 7 seconds into a neat pile in perfect controlled demolition style. This building housed offices for the city and just about every federal agency you can think of including the Secret Service, FBI, CIA, ATF, IRS, and FCC among others and housed the Mayor's "emergency command center", a hardened bunker like space designed to withstand many types of disasters. When that building fell, case files for major corporate and criminal investigations were also said to have been destroyed, like evidence in the Enron case for example. This is the same building that the owner, Larry Silverstein discussed in a 2002 PBS documentary when he said he decided to "pull it" and then he watched the build come down. Controlled demolitions typically take at least weeks to plan and prepare properly. Based on video of the collapse of WTC 7 many have stated it was a text book controlled demolition causing little to no additional damage to surrounding structures just a few feet away from where the debris pile landed, especially for a 47 story steel structure.

There are emergency worker statements from the scene that there were warnings to get back, including a 20 second radio countdown just before it came down. Some also have stated "low level flashes" being seen and hearing explosions and pops preceding the collapse. 1300F degree Molten metal existed in the basement area of building 7 like the towers, for some time after the collapses. Yet the official story remains that the building collapse was accidental, and unexplainable.

A brand new, bright and shiny, 52 story WTC 7 building stands today as the first new skyscraper to be rebuilt on the World Trade Center site since 9-11-01 while the families of WTC victims still await the constructing of the promised memorial to those who perished there. We need to remember this is the burial ground for a couple thousand American people.

So ask yourself, what are the implications that the BBC reported that WTC 7 had already collapsed about 20 minutes earlier than it actually did? Then ask yourself why the 9-11 Commission report failed to even mention the collapse or that building at all, not a single word? This all highlights the fact that there has yet to be a true investigation into the attacks of 9-11-01, and most people have accepted this.

If you have read this far you may as well listen to some phone calls made by this Canadian yesterday to the BBC about this new video footage. (phone calls to the BBC.)

I'll be waiting to hear any explanation anyone cares to give.

***UPDATE***

An, uh, explanation has been posted by BBC editor Richard Porter at the BBC blog site.
Read the comments, they are catching some serious flack for the feeble attempt at explaining this away with everything from "we lost the 9-11 tape" to "we were just reporting what we were hearing" (paraphrasing him.)

Now as much flaming that he's getting, I can tell you that they are not showing all comments because at least as of today, my comment that I posted last night is still not there.

This is interesting...

***UPDATE***
Another update,
There is now confirmation with a timestamp of the pre-collapse time this report took place, as reported on PrisonPlanet.com here.

Giuliani vs. Paul

By Troy Perkins

Mayor Giuliani

I want to state this loud and clear before too many Christians and conservatives fall under the spell being broadcast across the country already about possible 2008 GOP presidential candidates. Already, major “conservative” talk show hosts have begun the process of glossing over Rudy Giuliani’s pro-homosexual, pro-abortion and anti-gun views in an attempt to justify him as the best choice for the Republican presidential candidacy in 2008, because he might be “the most electable”. What a ridiculous idea. At best he might be a political chameleon. If this does not prove a larger agenda is afoot to you, then you might want to ask yourself what you really know about the leaders you help elect. When you consider the views mentioned above alone, Giuliani looks more like Hillary Clinton than he does a conservative Republican. Let me repeat for those calling yourselves “conservative” Christians out there: In America, WE THE PEOPLE are responsible for those we elect and the actions or inactions they take.

While Rush, Hannity, O’Reilly and other supposed “conservative” talking heads (whom many Christian conservatives nearly regard as prophets nowadays) already are beginning to slobber all over Rudi as a possibility (despite his views), none of them as of yet even acknowledge that Ron Paul is even running and is the ideal conservative candidate from a Christian conservative perspective. Yet somehow a John McCain or a Mitt Romney is a contender too?

Representative Ron Paul of Texas is quite possibly the single most qualified truly conservative candidate to have started an exploratory committee this year. I challenge anyone to find a more conservative, credible candidate than Ron Paul (Hint: you’d have to look back a couple hundred years in our country’s history for starters). To learn more about his record and stances go to www.ronpaul.org for a good list of starting links. If you look into him, you cannot deny that for a Christian, he is the only choice.

Evidently what it takes to be a good conservative presidential candidate today is to have run a strictly policed city where personal fire arms are banned and to “help the economy” while being tolerant toward untraditional (=immoral) viewpoints. That’s what Giuliani accomplished as mayor of New York City in general. Oh, I almost forgot, and he happened to be mayor when New York was attacked on September 11, 2001. I mean not to criticize Mr. Giuliani or any legitimate deed he may have ever accomplished except to emphasize that he is not conservative.

Please do not let the “lesser of two evils” lie dictate your thinking through another election. That way of thinking has eroded what little political influence Christian conservatives may have had to almost nothing. It is early enough now for believers to actually break out and make a difference as a group of people in our elective process. But we have to be concerned, educated and involved. Begin to educate yourself about who Ron Paul is and what he believes and then start talking about him with others you know. You consider yourself a conservative, now prove it.

Truth in a Culture of Fear and Hate. - The Manipulation of America’s Truth Bearers

Truth in a Culture of Fear and Hate.

The Manipulation of America’s Truth Bearers
By Troy Perkins

Problem, Reaction, Solution - A Familiar Story.

It’s no secret that I’m a Star Wars fan. In the movie, Star Wars Episode III, Revenge of the Sith, the Galactic Republic is crumbling in the midst of an epic war with the Confederacy of Independent Systems under the leadership of a Sith Lord named Count Dooku, a confederacy ultimately controlled by the deceptive (and secret Sith lord himself) Chancellor Palpatine of the Republic. (Those that are not familiar with it, indulge me and those that are fans, bear with me as I explain for others.)

Palpatine had positioned himself as the Chancellor over the entire Galactic Senate through a series of manufactured crises and manipulations using his political influence and had gained emergency powers to fight the very “enemy” that he had stirred up, trained and united against his Republic. It is a classic example of a form of manipulation known in the real world as “problem-reaction-solution”.

In the saga, the systems allied against and attempting to topple the “democratic” Republic, although undesirable, hateful and dangerous cultures and people, did not have the power to be a true threat without the concerted leadership and assistance of the truly evil and secretive Palpatine.

The entire tale revolves around one gifted Anakin Skywalker who is striving to become everything his talents and destiny indicate he is, the most powerful Jedi warrior to have ever been born. The Jedi were a “religious” and respected group of powerful individuals that for ages had used their power and enlightenment to defend all that was good in the galaxy from evil and upheld the Galactic Republic. Anakin struggles from the very start between using his abilities for personal gain and doing what he knows is right as a Jedi.In the third episode of the (six total) films, Anakin finds himself with his master Obi-Wan Kenobi fighting their way in to rescue Chancellor Palpatine from the, albeit controlled “enemy”, enemy nonetheless. Neither Jedi are able to perceive what has really been going on as they have been fully engulfed fighting their enemy for some time. Fighting for what they believe to be the truth. A true “fog of war” exists throughout the created conflict.

In this pivotal scene, the team of Jedi rescuers find themselves face to face with the enemy leader and very powerful Jedi turned evil, Count Dooku, and a fight commences with the bound Chancellor himself looking on, pretending to be happy about his rescue.
Dooku fully believes in his cause against the Republic, the Jedi fully believe in theirs to defend it all while the Chancellor watches his plan unfold perfectly, right before his him, pitting one side against the other. After the count renders the more experienced Obi-Wan unconscious, the powerfully ambitious Anakin beats him down and finally disarms Dooku, driving him to his knees. In a previous episode, Dooku had beaten Anakin down and cut off his hand.
Finally, at the coaxing of the Chancellor, Anakin gains revenge and beheads Count Dooku, in an act not becoming of a Jedi. This act is one of several throughout Anakin’s tale that progressively turns him to the very evil he thought he was fighting through bad or selfish decisions with seemingly good intentions. Before it is all over, he will become worse than what he started out standing against.

Parallels have often been drawn before between this tale that George Lucas wrote into his film saga and true history and even current world events. Lucas has even admitted history’s influence on his scripts. But I would like to point to a little more specific parallel that is not so apparent to us, particularly from a Christian point of view. I would like for you to consider that maybe the Church today is in that scene fighting with a Count Dooku, saber blow for saber blow, just like Anakin was. And like the fictional account, we are headed towards the point when we will have our saber and the enemy’s in our hands with him knelt before us in defeat or possibly the opposite. And like Skywalker, we might have the opportunity to behead him out of revenge instead of justice. But wait a minute, don’t get ahead of me. What about the entire back story involved? Does it apply to our real life situation as well? I propose that not only is it possible that this is the case, but there is great historic precedent that it is.

History’s Boogiemen

Some of them are real, some are not real, some are outright hoaxes and some are real but not nearly as threatening as we have been led to believe. I’m speaking of history’s boogiemen. Most are of the latter variety, real threats but ones that would not be nearly as significant without some help or allowances.

Boogiemen, every good agenda needs one. For Nero burning Rome, it was Christians. For Adolph Hitler, it was Polish border terrorists or a Communist radical that set fire to the Reichstag Building. For President Lyndon Johnson it was North Vietnamese gunboats in the Gulf of Tonkin, the ultimate excuse for the United States’ war in Vietnam. The list is long but the effect is consistent and proven.

So what about America’s current boogieman? It used to actually have a face if you can remember. Osama bin Laden, remember him? You hear the name occasionally now but his mention pales in comparison to his brothers in “faith”. Now the boogieman has been converted into the much broader group of radical Islamic extremists and the trend seems to be becoming all inclusiveness for all of Islam. Am I going to try and tell you that these are not real boogiemen? No, because there does exist in the world real, radical Islamic extremists that do in fact want all “unbelievers” to die. That is a fact. They are a Count Dooku of our very real world and our very real conflict now. They have an ideology of hate for those who would not convert that permeates their existence. But is that all the threat there is?

Terrorism and Tyranny.

Just like Count Dooku and his separatist armies, radical Islam is a real threat. Terrorists do exist and always have. Is the ideology any different now than in the past? Not since the seventeenth century really and probably before that in some form. The goals, however, have changed drastically. By the early 1900’s, Islamism really became a force to overthrow their own governments and return them to the “glory years” of old when their religion and state were one, under the rule of Allah, fundamental rule by force.

Our particular boogieman, although minimized more and more in light of a broader anti-Islam message, is now Al-Qaeda, the world network of radical Islamism. It is no secret any longer that Al-Qaeda arose from the CIA-sponsored Afghan Jihad against the Soviet occupation there where the United States actually aided the enemy of our “enemy”. All indications are that Al-Qaeda operatives have been “handled”, provocateur-ed, and otherwise used by Western government agencies ever since. There is much evidence for this; one just needs to do some research because it’s not talked about in the cable news programs or radio talk shows.
Everything from an agency supervisor “passing” on an opportunity to switch the real 1993 WTC bomb ingredients with fake substances (on tape by the way) to outright FBI higher-up’s orders to stop investigations into Al-Qaeda prior to September 11, 2001 to hijackers living and training at US military installations or living next to agents; the facts are out there that doors are intentionally left opened and individuals are protected along the way. And those are just recent examples. It sounds a lot like Count Dooku in the story mentioned earlier.

The Republic and Believers

So where does that put us? Well, America would be the “Republic” in our story fighting the Dookus of the world. But who is our Anakin Skywalker, the powerful spiritual defender of truth and democracy? I contend our Anakin could be the Church and in particular the “Western” body of Christ.

So what of the other half of the story? The tyrant in the background, manipulating and twisting all parties with their smaller agenda (good or bad) against one another toward his one grand scheme. Oh make no mistake; he’s there today in the real world as well. There is an undeniable hand at work to deceive, distort, kill and destroy down through history. And guess what? This is scriptural. It should be no surprise to a believer that crafty evil is at work in our world through living breathing humans, yet we Christians act as though this is limited somehow to our personal lives with a devil that we cannot see or our only mortal enemies live overseas and only come here to blow things up because our society was so open and unprotected. He also has horns and a pitchfork.

Oh no, he’s real and at work through leaders and events, governments and people, conflicts and agendas. It’s not any one man, politician or radical group of people. Think about it for a minute, this world is all that is left for the one we Christians call Lucifer. Satan’s future is set according to the Bible I read. This is his end game, to take as many to hell with him as he can. Not to get sidetracked theologically, but none of this, of course takes God by surprise, but that’s for another discussion. The Word is also clear that there will be great deception in this world before it is all over and boy is that proving to be the case more than ever now.

The Weapons of this Warfare

So how do we deal with Islam and terrorists? We have already passed into law the most draconian legislation in our nation’s history supposedly to make us safer here. But safe against what? Are we any safer? No. If some crazy fanatic wants to blow themselves up, they are still going to find a way to do it despite every restriction on liberty government can muster. The war in Iraq proves that full military force cannot defend the innocent all the time, in fact it can make things worse. Do we have a missile defense system yet? No! Do we have closed borders to truly control who and what crosses them yet (something that should have been started September 12th, 2001 if the threat was what has been stated.)? No! So what is the “War on Terror” doing besides restricting liberties at home? Killing all those bad guys over there so they won’t come here? That sounds conspicuously like a war without an end to me.

The tendency is the same as Anakin Skywalker’s in the Star Wars story. We want vindication, revenge and to protect and save what we love, at any cost. In that story, Anakin actually becomes the very thing he vowed to fight, with the same desire. And we are poised to end up the same today as the “war on terror” marches on. Supposedly this equals security and safety somehow. A majority of the stories on the News and on talk radio now are a push to focus on Muslims worldwide as the problem and more importantly to continually give up liberties for safety here at home. But if we are to believe the Bible, Muslims are to be dealt with like anyone. Share the truth of the gospel with them. That is not to say that radical Islam can be reasoned with. As an ideology it most definitely can not. But to focus on the Muslim’s religion as the sole boogieman in our crosshairs today is to miss the larger problem and to fall for the trap laid before us by the great deceiver. Remember, most Muslims are individuals needing the love and saving grace of Jesus just as much as anyone.

Where is it Going? Freedom.

So how do we deal with the not so noticed problem of slipping liberty and corruption that, whether we like it or not will affect us all, but more so our children and beyond? If, when faced with the opportunity to behead the evil Count Dooku, Anakin Skywalker would have turned and instead confronted or arrested the deceptive Chancellor Palpatine, the conflict could have ended and he could have taken the true source of the evil to task and Dooku to justice. Of course he would have had to know the truth about Palpatine, who had become Anakin’s friend and mentor before this.

Instead, as many of you know, the story turns dark for the last three episodes as the Galactic Empire rises after Palpatine kills most of the Jedi “rebellion” and pronounces himself Emperor in order to bring “peace and security” to the galaxy out of the chaos. This same kind of “peace and security” was brought to Germany by Hitler after the Reichstag fire and the border “incidents” with communist Polish terrorists. The same kind of “peace” was provided to those living in ancient Rome by the likes of Nero, Herod and Caesar. One could live in relative “peace” and safety in the Roman Empire and even worship like you wanted, as long as you did not question the authorities or happen to be in the way of national agendas. It was a different kind of freedom.

Enemy Without, Within, or Both?

So where does that put America in the story of good vs. evil and in particular where does that leave the bearers and defenders of truth, today’s body of Christ? Are Christians the “Jedi” of our world? We Christians like to ascribe the idea of being the truth defenders and light bearers. Our scriptures indicate if we know who we are in Christ, this is so. Why then do so many in the Church today ignore the most potent scriptures in this regard found in Ephesians chapter 5? Read the first half of that chapter and you find that being “children of light” makes us light bearers that are to “reprove” or “expose” evil. It doesn’t say that we are to just better ourselves through the latest “three step plan” to be blessed and stay out of the conflict around us. But that is what seems to be the trend.

The “retail” focus of modern Christian teaching has become overwhelmingly centered in self-help through inward thought, meditation, experience, and counseling. This trend has undeniably drawn most away from the simple but scriptural antidote of God’s Word guided by the Holy Spirit in the individual’s life and how we are to influence the real world around us. The sufficiency of Christ so plainly laid out in the book of Colossians is nearly secondary in the modern believer’s life, replaced by experiences, entertainment and dependency on the latest church trend sweeping the country or attending the next big conference or event. We’re addicted to spiritual fixes of all sorts.

Such trends have conveniently silenced a once truly “moral majority” in America and effectively diluted the potency of Christian influence on society. This has provided fertile soil for the weeds of evil intent to flourish in America through “lesser of two evil” acceptance and personal blessing lifestyle. We Christians will accept “not-so evil” in place of “more-so evil” partly because we have become too lazy to provide a true alternative and influence politics as a body outside of one of two political parties. We have bought the lies designed to keep an otherwise powerful and holy giant asleep while the enemy throws the ropes over it and ties it to the ground. Or is it worse than that? Have we been harnessed, trained and are we being used to actually assist in a more diabolical plan?

Our Non-involvement = approval

Tyranny never succeeds without enough good people doing nothing about it. In America we had a government unique in history where not only did we influence our government; it was our responsibility to do so in order to keep a check on power. But now we have effectively removed our voice to appear peaceful, gracious and loving, and most of all “patriotic” by not dissenting. Adolph Hitler used this same mentality to his advantage. A study of the early rise of Hitler’s Nazi Germany shows a nationalist Christianity that Hitler understood and used. Millions of German Christians embraced Hitler early on and the feur claimed to be a Christian despite his involvement in occult practices, homosexuality and all the evil he unleashed. Hitler promoted an anti-communism, anti-Semitism and national Christianity that most valued and wanted to be a part of as “patriotic” Germans. And in the name of security and safety, dissent was minimal. Any resistance left was eventually dealt with forcefully by the Nazis legally through “emergency” acts and legislation imposed on Germany in the name of national security after a series of “crises”.

James Madison once said:

“Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; armies, and debts, and taxes are known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.”

History proves this to be the case time and time again yet we act as though we are immune to the result of this evil. This was also the case in the story of Anakin Skywalker with which I have tried to illustrate; that there are plans in play to do evil as well as a plan for good. Our challenge becomes in defining where the enemy that truly threatens us is in order to fight it. The enemy from without is can be defined and can be fought but there remains an enemy within every society, and I’m not referring to those that sneak within our borders to do us harm physically as much as there being a tendency toward accumulation of power that we all are subject to. Those in positions of power experience a temptation most of us will never know. Yet somehow we live as though this threat could not exist or is minimized in America.

Riding the Wave on Home

Of course from a Christian stand point, in the end anyway, the good plan prevails. This is our blessing and this is our curse. God has always told at least someone, something about the outcome of his plan in advance. But scripture does not indicate that the plan involves standing by while evil prevails, just because we win in the end. God’s people have always had a problem understanding this. On the contrary, it is part of who a believer is to fight evil in Jesus’ name, to expose the works of darkness as we are admonished in Ephesians 5. We like to use God’s perspective as an excuse to do nothing, even though we were blessed with a government where we not only can, but have a responsibility to change what might be wrong. The prescription of scripture is to understand God’s perspective but act according to His character as revealed to us in the Word. This is because of our limited perspective and His infinite one. He can act according to His perspective because He is God. We can only act from our perspective as guided by the Spirit of God based on what is revealed to us in His Word. And that is what is expected of a believer. Accepting this truth means ignoring less verses in scripture and acting accordingly. Sitting around because one day after the rapture, God wins, is not the plan.

Anakin Skywalker, in beheading the defeated Count Dooku on his own, admittedly ignored the “way of the Jedi” instead of bringing Dooku to justice for his evil deeds. In doing so, he became a mutation and instrument of the very evil he was fighting, the ultimate weapon of control through fear in the end: Darth Vader.

The Empire rose with the help of a gifted defender of freedom who failed to rely on what he knew was true and just. Instead he became obsessed with saving that which he loved at any cost by listening to the crafty reason of an individual who used empty promises and guided crises’ to insure a problem and a reaction, so that he could provide the “solution”. Anakin did the “patriotic” thing and blindly aligned himself with the Emperor.

In a world where you can’t solve problems of the soul through “democracy” building, we must rely on what we know to be true so that we will not fall into the trap of our own understanding and thus be used in the plan to do evil. Look around, we are becoming more and more restricted at home because of fear, not security and safety. The problem is not what more draconian laws have done to you personally so far, it’s the potential of those laws, that are now on the books, to facilitate control of a once free people in the future when the original purposes of those restrictions are forgotten and blurred.

Wake Up Call

We find ourselves now at a point in our history when what is left of the Republic that was America could decline over night into a nightmare police state if one big incident or attack occurs within our borders. Fear in the public’s mind has been bolstered for many years and accelerated in the time since September 11, 2001 until it dominates every newscast, political speech and the most popular television series’. Make no mistake; our culture is ripe for such a scenario.

American Christians in particular have the solution if we wake up and remember in mass to it soon enough. Our commission is to make disciples of all men, including Muslims, and our national responsibility is to protect the gifts God has given so graciously to us. Both of these goals can only be carried out effectively if the American Christian takes individual personal responsibility and begins to care about the world around them. Wake up first to the idea that those of any religion or race can be saved through faith in Jesus Christ. And secondly that to protect the homeland will require a change back in the direction the founding fathers of our country relied upon and expected us to remember, an informed, involved and armed population ready to responsibly protect themselves, others and the constitution that limited the power of rulers to establish tyranny on our soil. Those, after all were the reasons America was formed.

I thought to myself, “Anakin, surely you can see what’s really going on!”

“The people never give up their liberties but under some delusion” - Edmund Burke 1784

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
(Ephesians 5:6-16 KJV)

The 2007 State of the Union

Ok, I didn’t watch the president’s “State of the Union” show live last night, but I did get a chance to look over the transcript today. Basically…

“My plan will work if you guys don’t mess it up and if it doesn’t work, it won’t be my fault” and “just ignore that man behind the curtain.”

…gibberish (and in case anyone doesn’t know yet, I voted for this administration both times.)

Nothing stood out as surprising to me but one thing.

The President repeated a known false “foiled terror attack” that he had announced on February 9th last year. The thwarted plan supposedly was planned by al Qaeda to fly a plane into the tallest building on the west coast, the LA Library Tower, in 2002. The only problem is that hours after the announcement, mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa came out with a statement of his surprise that he had not been informed of such a plot by anyone in the government. More surprising was that the next day twenty-three separate active and inactive intelligence agents and experts disputed the claim publicly.

New York Times story (archived story about other officials’ opinion on the “plot”.)

The New York Daily News (another archived story about other officials’ opinion on the “plot”.)

The Washington Post (yet another archived story about other officials’ opinion on the “plot”.)

FBI counterterrorism director John Pistole said he was "not sure what [the CIA] was referring to," when a CIA counterintelligence official mentioned the same “plot” when he said "I think we've probably prevented a few aviation attacks against both the East and West coasts," in 2004.

There is more about this old “plot” for the reading if you do some Google work.

I would feel guilty not pointing out this blatant reinforcement of unprecedented fear in our national mind. Unfortunately, we are expected to tolerate this “culture of fear” as good conservatives or Christians and this talk from our leader only promotes it.

I will hopefully be writing much more about this subject in the near future as I believe we (especially those of us calling ourselves Christians) are not called to live according to fear but that is the primary focus of current official US policy and it is and will affect our families, churches, and lifestyles if we allow it to continue unchecked. It is dangerous, false and for a believer… unscriptural.

Election Time - Get informed, spread the word

“An elective despotism was not the government we fought for; but one in which the powers of government should be so divided and balanced among the several bodies of magistracy as that no one could transcend their legal limits without being effectually checked and restrained by the others.”

James Madison, Federalist No. 58, 1788

Alright, its election time and some have been asking me about this one. If you're not a Christian, understand that is my perspective (let me know because you need to know how you can become one. There is no hope without Christ Jesus.)

Let me just make some things clear up front;

  1. I will never knowingly vote for any candidate that openly supports abortion or any other sick ungodly agendas.
  2. I know my God is in control, so much so that He gave us this great country and its system of citizen control and influence over limited government (if we exercise it.)
  3. It is not wrong, unchristian, hateful or rebellious to require accountability from our government, because this is America where that is exactly how this nation came into being, by God's grace.
  4. It is not (and there is a lot of confusion on this one) good, patriotic, caring or loving to just sit through our uniquely American existence, a gift from God, silent while those that supposedly represent us continue their drunken drive of lust and power in our name (and in turn Christ's name), ruining our republic.

I'm sorry if that sounds harsh… now that that’s clear…

I’m in quite a position this next Tuesday. It will be difficult for me to make some of the “choices” when I go to vote, and yes, I will vote. There are two sources of information that I use to determine who to vote for. The first is what a candidate says and the second, and by far the most important, is what they have done. It’s that dirty old “fruit inspection” theory. Well it’s biblical Christian, sorry.

Here’s the problem for us conservative Christians, there is not much of a choice and I mean that. There really is not a choice in most cases anymore. I will discuss my remedy in a moment but let me try and get you other “conservative” Christians to wake up for a second. Reality check time. And if you think Christians should just get alone and take what comes, just stop reading now. You are beyond hope. Go back to football, cookouts and vacations because life is a bed of roses, really. The rest of us, come on:

Correct me with real facts if I’m wrong but here are the facts as I see them. The first issue that should be a block for any Christian voting for someone is the American holocaust of abortion. Call it what it is, if you are really “pro-life”, it is a holocaust. You have no reason to talk about how bad Hitler was if you can’t admit this. And standing on a sidewalk one hour a year holding a sign and nothing else is not being “active” (it’s better than nothing I guess.) If a candidate is not going to make abolishing baby killing a priority, in my opinion, they should not even be running as a conservative Christian. And if we can’t get the abortion issue taken care of, no other issue matters, really. It’s about as cut and dry an issue as you can have.

Well then we should vote for the GOP (Republicans) then right? “They’ll do something about abortion.” How long can you repeat a lie before you begin to believe it? Check these facts out and rethink your reality, and your voting strategy:

The Facts:

It was a Republican dominated U.S. Supreme Court that legalized abortion on demand in 1973 by deciding both Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. Republicans authorized the killing of over 45 million unborn babies and there is no other way to spin that. Since then Republican dominated Courts have reaffirmed abortion-on-demand time and time again, to include the current Court. Just a few weeks ago the U.S. Supreme Court, without comment or dissent, rejected a request from Sandra Cano to reconsider the Doe v. Bolton case (She was the woman who was used as the plaintiff in the case) that created a 'health' exception for abortions. This case, with Roe v. Wade made abortion-on-demand completely legal in almost any stage of pregnancy! Currently “Republican” picked judges makeup the majority on this Court by a 7-2 margin. This does not constitute the “Party of Life” to me.

Democrats may say they are pro-abortion but Republican Party members have actually given it to us. Spin it if you want, but that is the fact.

Here’s another fact to consider:

· When “Christian” Republican George W. Bush became president in 2001, a staggering 4,000 unborn babies were being aborted daily! See how evil Clinton was (I know, I know, he was. But…)

· Six years later during which we have had a Republican controlled House, Senate, White House and Supreme Court (basically the entire federal government has been Republican controlled… for six years), there are now a paltry 4,000 unborn babies being aborted daily! See how good our Republican leaders are?

Nothing has changed Christian! For six years, pro-life Christians have been fed a bunch of rhetoric to support the “lesser of two evils” lie! That is a controlling, deceptive and satanic lie.

“But what about the “partial-birth abortion ban” that Bush signed? He’s doing something to end abortion, right?” Wrong!!! You think this confirms his Christian stance? That bill has not saved a single unborn child. All it did was legitimize all the other types of abortion. Here are the facts:

· 99% of all abortions are outside that ban! What a joke.

· That bill prompts mothers considering abortion to do so earlier in the pregnancy than they may have before, leaving less time for them to consider not doing it.

If anything, the partial-birth abortion bill has helped speed-up abortions.

But Christians buy the lie that something has been done by our good “Christian” Republican leaders.

The only representative who has put his money where his mouth is would be Representative Ron Paul of Texas who introduced H.R. 776, The Sanctity of Life Act of 2005, a bill "to provide that human life shall be deemed to exist from conception," How many supporters did he have in the House? Five! And total silence from the White House. Why did his bill not get support from the GOP or the president? Because there is no difference in the GOP and the Democrats. When will Christians realize this? God’s people truly do perish due to a lack of knowledge. You may as well call them Republicrats and Demopublicans. It is like belief in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus, it was cute when you were young but it’s pathetic as an adult.

The national GOP has supported numerous pro-choice Republicans running against pro-life Republicans in primary races throughout the country. That happens all the time and is sick.

· “Christian” President George W. Bush also gave his support recently to the “Plan B” over the counter abortion pill pushing the FDA to approve it. Has he lost his mind or just his morals or does he know exactly what he is doing? That drug will grow the unknown number of unborn baby deaths to new highs.

· Bush has stated on the record that he thinks that America is not ready for a total abortion ban. He doesn’t speak for me.

· Bush supported and increased funding for Planned Parenthood.

· Bush appointed pro-abortion Judge Alito (based on Alito’s votes in 3 of 4 cases.)

· Bush has appointed pro-choice proponents like Secretary Rice and Attorney General Gonzalez to positions in his administration.

· Bush supported pro-abortion Specter’s re-election.

· Bush also publicly opposed the pro-life bill in South Dakota that outlawed all abortions with the sole exception of saving the life of the mother. So Bush has not only done nothing to end abortion, he has actually done much to assist it.

· Laura Bush has even stated for the record that both she and the President support Roe v. Wade.

Show me how the “most Christian” Republican President is “pro-life” in light of the facts.

Show me how the GOP is “pro-life” in light of the facts.

Pat Buchanan was right when he said that the two major parties are “two wings of the same bird of prey." Christians and especially leaders must begin to acknowledge that the two party system is worse than broken and start speaking out in support of truly conservative, true constitutionalists.

The pathetic “lesser of two evils” mantra is a control mechanism and the Church best break out of it before it is too late. The choice between Socialist Democrat and Fascist Republican is unacceptable and Christians should realize that through Christ more than that is possible and expected, and begin to demand it.

So basically, if we can’t get the baby killing issue straight with “conservative Christian” Republican control of the entire government, there is no need to go into any other issue for this discussion. Our founding fathers could not have fathomed that killing unborn children would be protected by American law. There is no difference but talk between to two major parties friend. It’s like claiming to wage a “War on Terror” without closing the borders, boy that would make no sense at all, would it?

“Among the numerous advantages promised by a well-constructed Union, none deserves to be more accurately developed than its tendency to break and control the violence of faction.”

James Madison, Federalist No. 10, November 23, 178

What am I gonna do?

So what am I doing this election, personally? I will go and vote for a few individuals that I determine I can in good conscious (this might only be a few judges, I’m still trying to determine who they are.) I will not participate in the ungodly process of “lesser of two evils” straight ticket, “hold your nose and vote”, faith-based hogwash that retail Christianity now operates under. It is not biblical and we have to end it. Would you vote for Nero and Caligula? I hope you would vote for neither. (You might want to look that up, of course they didn’t give the “right” of voting)

“A little matter will move a party, but it must be something great that moves a nation.”

Thomas Paine, Rights of Man, 1792

A Real Solution

I really think it’s to late this election to do the right thing. We will have the same result in two years because there are too few constitutionalists running. There I said it. The right thing is for Christians to remove themselves as a supportive group to the GOP that has lied, used, abused and abandoned them for a long time, over and over. Guys, it is a hoax, a gimmick that even our respected Christian leaders and pastors still believe and promote. To keep following the GOP now would be like a battered wife to keep taking abuse from a piece of trash scum husband under the delusion that he cares for her and her wellbeing. The church is supposed to be the bride of Christ why would she live like anything less? If the church continues to participate with the “lesser of two evils” mantra, our country truly is doomed.

So, I think the only choice is to vote for those you can honestly say you have looked into and you really believe they might support real abolishment of abortion and then apply the pressure for real legislation to do that this next term. That means writing letters, making phone calls and informing others to pressure representatives to actually do this, between elections. Instead of believing the cute sounding “If you don’t vote, you don’t have a right to complain”, start saying “If you aren’t active in holding your public servants accountable between elections, you are wasting your vote!”

But more importantly, and what I think the only solution is, start now to look ahead to 2008 and beyond. If all Christians would refuse to support either corrupt major party and begin raising their own politicians up, they could elect real Christians and maybe we could actually accomplish something. Oh, that’s right; churches can’t officially be political can they? After all, we wouldn’t want that tax exempt status yanked would we? The church has been effectively neutered by that one control mechanism. Oh, we are so controlled. If you really believe as children of God that we should not live in bondage, wake up and start looking around. Some believe that not voting a straight Republican ticket is actually a sin. I say that not participating in holding your government accountable daily in America is the real sin.

Get informed, get involved or we will be leaving a disgusting country to our children and grandchildren. That is a sin. Yes go vote, but understand what it is going take to see real change, unless you’ve already given up.

In Christ, Troy

“But what do we mean by the American Revolution? Do we mean the American war? The Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations...This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution.”

John Adams, letter to H. Niles, February 13, 1818

“Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness.”

George Washington, Circular to the States, May 9, 1753

"Not everyone who keeps saying to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will get into the kingdom of heaven, but only the person who keeps doing the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name, drove out demons in your name, and performed many miracles in your name, didn't we?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you evildoers!'"
(Matthew 7:21-23)
